Canning and Preserving Food

Autumn is nearing and the temps will start dropping. This is when I feel like I'm most active. I am more motivated and operate better in cooler weather. I'm going to start learning about how to can foods using a large pot and boiling vegies and food in mason jars. I may even can the dried meat I have hanging in the shed. I can also start new meat drying projects because it's getting colder. Colder means dryer air and less to no bugs or pests. Stay tuned! I'll hopefully get this project started soon.
